First impressions on Columbia after visiting Cartagena and Santa Marta
-Columbia’s average salary is more than 30% higher than in Romania, country member of the European Union -It’s an affordable country, but definitely not cheap -In five days we never heard anything than Spanish music -Columbians enjoy music and dance -the healthy options for food are super limited, the locals enjoy eating a lot of junk food, so their shape it’s not the best -it’s pretty safe even though from time to time people warn about not showing off your smartphone. There is a lot of police -they take fingerprints at some hotels and at the exchange offices -better not read too much about one place, you will miss the…

Best value accommodation in Anda
Right on the public white beach of Anda we found a great place to spend a few days, Little Miami beach. The location is absolutely the best in the area. All the expensive resorts isolate you from the local authentic life and they keep you away from the town, the local market or the best beach in the area which is…the public beach. So at Little Miami beach you are in the center of the public beach, steps away from the. We would recommend this place for the amazing location, confortable beds, exceptional value for money paid (500 pesos or 11 dollars for a hut without bathroom. 800 for ensuite)…

Wish list for our trip in The United States
We are in the airplane from Europe to United States, flying from Oslo, via Helsinki, getting closer to one of our favorite countries in the world. When I travel somewhere I like to know what kind of (new) experiences I like to have so we made a list of the priorities we will have as visitors to the US. We will start with New York, very generous for both the traveler and the entrepreneur in me. Here it goes: participate to three Travel Massive events, the largest community of travel insiders and professionals meet the chapter leaders of Travel Massive and get connected to the local community experience work of dog sitting…

Full review Pita Maha resort&spa Ubud-Bali and video tour!
If you love being pampered in a surreal landscape while you have your own privacy then you have to come to Pita Maha Resort and Spa in Ubud. This resort easily fits in the wow category of places in the world. They been here since 1996,long before many resorts and hotels developed in Ubud. The resort is luxurious while keeping a traditional feeling of an old Balinese village. It’s serene and quiet. It feels like you sit on the edge of another world, on top of a green lush Canyon, crossed by a river. The infinity pool is just breathtaking, overlooking the immersive greenery. As you enter the gate of…

Recommended good and affordable place to eat in Paris
J’aime Paris! I love Paris! It is a very beautiful city, with spectacular buildings, great food, cheese and wine and very interesting people! It feels like you are walking in a huge museum where every building is an exhibit and at every corner a sensory rich experience is waiting for you in a French boulangerie or a art gallery. And everything from the lights of the Tour Eiffel to the music of the francais language is so romantic that you feel like in a love story movie. Still, for most of the people living in Paris or the tourists visiting the city it is not a cheap place. You need…

24 hours of silence for 4.22 million people on Nyepi day
As long as we live we learn. I had no idea that somewhere on Earth there is a day where for a full 24 hours normal life is totally suspended. No people on the streets, no noises, no traffic, no airports opened, really nothing works for 24 hours. It has a huge impact, much larger than Earth hour for instance. 24 hours with no pollution, be it from factories, cars or plains. Tourists are confined to their hotel rooms with black curtains covering the windows. No lights can be seen from the streets. Total silence. A life changing experience. 4.22 million locals and many thousand tourists in total silence on…

Review La Artillería boutique hotel Cartagena
Amazing value, perfect location in the hip Getsemani neighborhood, walking distance from the historic centre. the service it’s fantastic, from cleaning, breakfast, reception and management. The rooftop pool is a great differentiator, very pleasant in the evenings also. The finishings and the details are high class. Quiet new AC, large TV. We booked two nights, but we extended to 6 nights, it was a treat. you can check other reviews on TripAdvisor : http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g297476-d7851356-Reviews-Hotel_Boutique_la_Artilleria-Cartagena_Cartagena_District_Bolivar_Department.html and directly book here: www.hotellaartilleria.com We would love to share our movie from Cartagena: Beautiful colonial CartagenaOn our first day in Colombia we felt Cartagena is overated.
